Creature Forge - Design and Evolve bizarre creatures from bones, muscles, wheels and rockets, then watch generations of neural-network-controlled offspring learn to race across a physics world. Creature Forge lets you hand-craft weird biomechanical monsters with AI-controlling neural networks, tweak gravity/wind/friction/thrusters and many other variables, then watch natural selection turn your awkward first designs into surprisingly capable (or hilariously disastrous) racers. Morphing Mode: Bones stretch/shrink and wheels resize via tiny mutations, turning your rigid blueprint into wildly adaptive mutants. Don't allow Morph to keep 'em true to your design, or unleash the chaos! 🚀🦵 Hand-design the starting body → tweak gravity, wind, friction, thrust power → evolve 40+ creatures per generation → laugh/cringe/cheer as the best designs slowly become less terrible.

Thank you for downloading Creature Forge!

This is a standalone Windows game, no installation required.

Windows (recommended method)

Download the file Creature Forge.exe

  1. Double-click Creature Forge.exe to launch the game.
    • The first time you run it, Windows SmartScreen or your antivirus (e.g. Windows Defender, AVG) may show a warning because it's a new app from an independent developer.
    • Click More info → Run anyway (or add an exception in your antivirus settings).
    • This is normal for indie games — the file is safe.

Important notes

  • Requires Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit).
  • Game saves creatures and presets in a creatures/ and presets/ folder next to the .exe (or in the extracted folder).
  • If you have no sound: some antivirus programs temporarily block audio. Allow the .exe fully or try temporarily disabling audio protection.
